Based on the DevOps from 20+ ETC experiences we already gained in Taiwan, FETCi has unique perspectives to provide intelligent tolling service total solution, which is different from other market players as system vendor.
For the free-flow tolling, FETCi applies a variety of digital technologies and combines them into smart system. We design, implement and operate the tolling service solutions to meet customer's needs.
Moreover, we can help our customer to tailor made system migration plan during the transition period.
The Modern Tolling Service
FETCi offers a complete total solutions from roadside system to back office and help customers to maintain and operate the system. The total solution encompasses the following elements
FETC was entrusted by Freeway Bureau, MOTC in Taiwan to build and operate MLFF system on national highways. The MLFF was launched in the end of 2013 and won several significant awards from IBTTA, IRF and ITS World Congress and broke the following records.
FETCi together with FETC and our Thailand partner, delivered the M-Flow toll collection system for Intercity Motorway No. 81 (M81). Spanning approximately 96 km, the motorway connects Bangkok and Kanchanaburi, becoming Thailand's first motorway to implement the M-Flow tolling system.
The solution integrates AI-powered ALPR, RFID, multiple electronic payment methods, and a centralized Traffic Operation Center (TOC), enabling seamless, non-stop toll collection while improving traffic flow and reducing congestion. Leveraging Taiwan's proven ETC expertise, FETCi successfully exported its MLFF solution to support Thailand's smart highway development and digital transportation transformation.
FETCi was in charge of implementing roadside system and system maintanance for free flow service on Highway No.9 in Thailand. The statistics showed that in the free-flow road sections, traffic throughput grew 13% within 6 months after the service launched.
FETCi worked with our partner to design and implement the first MLFF Pilot in India.
FETCi successfully deployed India's first operational AI-powered MLFF system in collaboration with Indian partners. To address India's diverse traffic and extreme temperatures exceeding 40°C, the team integrated AI-powered axle and vehicle classification, high-speed ANPR, and LiDAR to accurately identify vehicles, process tolls, and automatically exclude toll-exempt vehicles. The gantry infrastructure was also engineered with enhanced thermal management and heat-resistant design to ensure stable 24/7 operation. The project demonstrates FETCi's ability to deliver reliable, high-performance MLFF solutions in one of the world's most challenging highway environments.
